Where can i buy a solar heater for a family sized paddling pool?
i'm thinking of buying an 18ft garden paddling kiddies swimming pool for my two daughters, but i want to heat it for them. I've been told about solar heaters but i wasn't told where to buy one or approx how much. Can you help?
Is gilma a good solar heater ? if not which is the best one?

Where to get parts to build a solar heater for a pool?
I was at a pool store and was looking at a solar panel for pools. It had a bunch of very small rubber tubes that were molded together and the ends were connected to 1" 1 2 or 2" ABS pipes. I know were to get the larger pipes but I can't find the smaller rubber tubes. They are connected in groups of four or five. I know I could buy individual tubes but would rather find the ones molded together.

Joining a solar heater into existing furnace?
I have solar heaters and what I want to do is join the part sucking air into the cold duct of the furnace, but where would the end with the hot air go into the furnace to be circulated? I have a modern oil forced air furnace.The end goal is to have the furnace run as normal without using the oil during the day. Which is part two of the question, if I turn the oil feed off, the furnace wont kick in actually only need the fan and dont want to control it manually is there a way around this?

We have a 15X30 above ground pool and would like some info from people who already have a solar heater. How many degrees does the temp of your pool water go up from May September? Our pool is in the sun most of the day. Unfortunately our neighbor's tree blocks the sun from part of our pool right in the middle of the day. We're considering a solar heater and don't know if it would do much to help since our entire roof doesn't get sun all day 1 half gets sun part of the day, the other half the other part of the day same with our yard . There are only a couple of dealers on L.I. that install pool solar heaters. The 1 we got an estimate from didn't do anything to survey our yard to see if it is suitable for the solar heater. I'd rather have a solar heater but I'm also strongly leaning toward a heat pump since I haven't been convinced that the temperature of our pool water will rise more than 4 degrees above what it was last summer didn't get above 80 the whole summer.Thank you for your response. Many people in NY with above ground pools who use heat pumps and gas heaters also use solar covers when their pool is not in use to keep the heat in. I really just want to know who has a solar heater and how many degrees the pool water increases.

Solar heaters for pools ... any ideas on how to make one?
I have an in ground 13,000 gallon pool that I use a solar cover on to retain heat, but I would like to swim earlier and later in the year and I was thinking of building my own solar heater. Your suggestions are welcome please I had thought of a 6' X 3' X 6" deep box that would have densely packed piping going back and forth to the other side where the water would be returned to the pool. The class topped box would concentrate the heat and warm the water passively I believe. Any other suggestions or suggestions on what materials to use? I can draw the water from the filter without having to add a seperate pump.I am planning on putting the unit on my Shed roof, not my house, so the limited size is important.
Solar heater advice needed?
I have had great success with a small passive solar window heater in my bedroom. Now I would like to go alot bigger. I would like to build a big solar heater for an entire living space. The problem I have is the only spot where I can get enough sun is covered by a sun room. My question is.If I were to insulate some piping, would there still be enough heat to make it about 15 feet. from the solar heater to a window to enter the house?. I cannot put it any where else, so this is the only spot. I live in Maine where it can get down into the teens and single numbers during the day. Thanks for any input you may have
