Generally, it's not possible to build a solar electric panel yourself that's worth anything. Be cautious of sites that say you can, if you will just send them $xx for the instructions. If there is grid power in your location, be aware that the vast majority of installations nowadays do not use batteries - they drive the meter backwards during the day, and the meter runs forward at night, when grid power is being used. This sort of setup still costs thousands of dollars today. If you are still interested at this price, email me from the link in my profile, and I can direct you to what we did. If you truly have an off-grid application, like a remote cabin, I can direct you to resources for that, too. But the price for such a system runs into the thousands, too. |
